Hey everyone! I updated my Shop page to reflect the beginning of the busy Holiday shopping season! The response at my first craft show was overwhelming! I am so SO happy that my sugar scrubs were so well received. I have updated the PayPal link to where you can now order however many sugar scrubs that you would like! There are four different scrubs to choose from: Pumpkin Pie, Candy Cane Hot Cocoa, Hot Cocoa and (the most popular at the craft show) Spa Day.
Each scrub is being sold for $5.00 each!
HAPPY SHOPPING 😀
Candy Cane Hot Cocoa
Hey guys! Sorry I have been M.I.A lately. Been doing a lot of craft show organizing and finalizing everything for the show this upcoming Sunday. How was everyone’s weekend? I had a blast at the Halloween party that Shawn and I went too. We also went to Bloodview Haunted House in Brecksville, Ohio with Val and Roy! That was a ton of fun. I highly recommend checking out Bloodview for your next haunted house getaway!
I am so ready for Halloween this Friday! Our neighborhood has trick-or-treat that day from 6-8pm. The weather forecast isn’t looking so hot though! It is supposed to rain and be chilly. Yuck 😦 This will be Shawn and I’s second Halloween in our neighborhood ( We moved to Seven Hills last year, when we got married).
Okay, so the items I will be selling at the craft show will be the candy cane hot cocoa, spa day, hot cocoa and pumpkin pie sugar scrubs. I will also be selling chocolate covered pretzels (with sprinkles on top of course!) Each sugar scrub will be sold for $5.00 and the chocolate covered pretzels will be being sold two for one for a $1.00. I will be selling the candy cane hot cocoa, spa day and hot cocoa sugar scrubs online on my Shop page (on this blog!) starting November 1st! The pumpkin pie sugar scrub is already for sale under my Shop page right now, so feel free to start your early Holiday shopping with pumpkin pie sugar scrub 😉
Here is some pictures of the pumpkin pie sugar scrub finished and in the making 🙂
Hello blog world! I am busy getting my first craft show things together and organized all of this week. I am excited about some of my decor that I am having at my little sugar scrubs craft table! Trending right now is chalkboard decor. If you look on Pinterest, chalkboard decor and other chalkboard crafts are all over the website right now! I just love this cute trend. I have been using this chalkboard trend before it was even considered to be a trend.
Want to get an early start on your Holiday shopping? I will have the Candy Cane Hot Chocolate and the Hot Cocoa sugar scrubs for sale under my Shop page starting November 1st! Get your calendars ready! 😉
I cannot believe how fast time is flying! I have about two more weeks left to prep for the upcoming November 1st craft show in Mentor, Ohio. Feel free to bring friends and family! A Chinese auction will be held as well.
I will be selling my Candy Cane Hot Chocolate scrubs, Hot Chocolate scrubs, Spa Day scrubs and the Pumpkin Pie scrubs all for $5.00 each. I am also making chocolate covered pretzels to be sold for 2 for a $1.00! Come on out and enjoy the fun! 😀

Hey guys! I had a fabulous first Anniversary weekend! That included today as well, since Shawn was off of work today. He surprised me with a trip to Kalahari yesterday. We had a lot of fun there riding all of the water rides. For those of you not familiar with Kalahari it is a water park in Sandusky, Ohio near Cedar Point. I had a surprise of my own to give to Shawn for our anniversary!
Here is what I did: I attached little “love notes” with some extra construction paper that I had stating things that I love about Shawn onto each balloon string. I bought nine balloons at the Deals dollar store for $1.00 each! Not too shabby 😉 He loved his surprise!
Hey guys! Who is ready for Halloween?! I know I sure am. I had a few of my girl friends over last night and we started munching on the candy that is supposed to be for Halloween 😉 Haha! But, MAN I just LOVE chocolate. I had gotten a bag of the mini sized candy bars (Twix, Snickers, Milky Way) at Aldi the other day when I went grocery shopping. I know it is a bit early to get the Halloween candy, but they were having such good deals on it that I couldn’t pass it up.
My Mother-in-Law brought Shawn and I some pumpkin pie the other day when she stopped by. I just love her desserts, especially her pumpkin pie! What is your favorite dessert? I honestly have MANY favorite desserts so there is no way that I can name JUST ONE! I have no idea what I want to dress up as for Halloween. I was thinking of doing a couples’ costume idea with Shawn, but I am having trouble deciding which one to do. I found many couples’ costume ideas on Pinterest, of course. I found one couple’s costume, where the girl is the one who got struck by the guy’s costume of lightning! I think this one is pretty clever not to mention hysterical!
Keep in mind that there is only the rest of October and until the end of November to order the Pumpkin Pie sugar scrub! Go to my Shop page to order through PayPal.
So many new and exciting things are starting to happen! I swear everything good always happens all at once it seems like. The only downside to some of these changes is that I may not have as much free time anymore. I am stuck trying to make some of these decisions. I am sure I will figure it out eventually.
Anyways, I will be selling my sugar scrubs along with a couple of other items at this upcoming craft show November 1st. I am not sure exactly what the other items will be yet as I am still brainstorming. I am sure the idea will hit me with one of those “AH-HA” moments. Food items seem to be pretty popular at craft shows, so I am thinking one of these items will be a food item. I am brainstorming with the ideas of cupcakes, chocolate covered pretzels and the good old fashioned chocolate chip cookie.
Have any of you crafters/bakers ever participated in a craft show before? Or have you ever gone to a craft show? As always, I appreciate your feedback 😉
