I am revamping my Shop page to include new bath products that I have been creating. I am very excited to share these creations with everyone! I love trying new things and I have a lot up my sleeve 😉
The website will be going through some changes as well as new products that will be added to the Shop page. Just in time for the busy Holiday shopping season!! Get ready for some new, fun sugar scrub scents and types, as well as new products such as foot soaks and bath salts just to name a couple!
Trust me you will love these new additions. I am already dreaming about soaking away the days’ stress in my bath tub with a new bath bomb.
I am pretty excited about the new scents that I am concocting for the spring & summer sugar scrub line. Fresh scents like citrus remind me of long summer days spent at the beach in Florida. Citrus is also a very energizing scent. It wakes me up in the mornings, even when I would rather spend the day in my bed!
Today I am making citrus sugar scrubs. I will be testing out the batch that I make today to make sure that I get the best consistency and quality. Get ready for some fun changes ahead with new labeling and packaging! This is going to be a lot of fun for me. I am selling the citrus sugar scrubs for $5.00 each, plus shipping/handling under my Shop page tab. I will be sure to update the Shop page as soon as I can!
What is your favorite spring and/or summer scent? What kind of scent triggers the best memories you have ever had? For me, it would be the scent of coconut. The coconut scent triggers back memories of mine as a child down by the beach swimming and building sandcastles. Coconut also reminds me of sunscreen and days spent at the local pool here in Cleveland.
This is the Citrus essential oil that I found at one of the craft stores up here. Smells absolutely amazing!
I know I have been MIA lately….and I apologize for that. I have been very busy since the Holidays. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s! I was in Florida for about a week right after Christmas with my husband visiting family. We had a great time. Almost makes me want to move down south! I get pretty sick and tired of this cold weather here in Ohio.
Let’s talk sugar scrubs….
I have some plans on making some new scents for you guys! I am thinking about citrus scents and lemon scents for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. I am also looking into the idea of a coffee scrub. Don’t worry I will keep you all updated on my ideas! I have a couple of the hot cocoa holiday sugar scrubs left over from the holiday season. Please comment below if you would like to purchase one of the hot cocoa scents.
I will also be updating my Shop page, where you can shop for the sugar scrubs with the new scents I am going to be selling. I will let you guys know when I will be updating this. In the meantime, look for some relaxation tips and tricks from yours truly. 🙂
Looking forward to getting to know all of you and your wonderful blogs again in 2015!!

Did I just make your mouth water with the post title? I sure hope so! Who doesn’t LOVE hot cocoa during the cooler/cold months?! I love hot cocoa and especially the scent of it. I also LOVE the smell of peppermint in the air during the holidays. When I enter my mother’s home during Christmas I always get a waft of peppermint, pine and sugar cookies baking in the oven. Sugar cookies + Hot Cocoa = Warm and fuzzy feeling!!!!
See where I am going with this…..
Today I made candy cane hot chocolate sugar scrub and hot cocoa sugar scrub! Boy, does it smell good. I am very impressed with how both of them came out and cannot wait to sell them for Christmas and the holiday season at the craft show! Trust me, you are going to want a FREE (did I say FREE?!) sample of this stuff! I am in love. Totally making some for my own use as well.
PS- This candy cane hot chocolate sugar scrub will be available for purchase for $5.00 each at my Shop page starting in November 😀
Have you ever heard of essential oils? Essential oils are wonderful for your health. Certain essential oils can help reduce stress and overall, reduce the feelings of anxiety in women and men. That’s right men! Essential oils are beneficial for everyone. Since I just got started with my Fresh Sugar Scrubs line, I have purchased about three different kinds of essential oils. The three different kinds that I purchased are; the orange, lavender and ginger oils.
Each essential oil has a different health benefit. For example, lavender is known for it’s specific calming and relaxing properties. My favorite essential oil would be the lavender for it’s soothing scent and calming effect that it puts me in. I often will use a lavender sugar scrub in the shower before I go to bed at night just to unwind!
Ginger Sugar Scrub I made recently. If you would like a free sample, please let me know in the comments section of the post and I will gladly mail you a sample! 🙂 Ingredients: Ginger essential oil, coconut oil, sugar.
